Marc Doiron New Orleans Pirogue

 I had the misfortune to sell a pirogue to Marc Doiron. You know that feeling you get that someone is trouble before you even meet them? This guy started emailing me about buying a boat.

 The boat was online and as it was being built it was available for anyone to see.

 He started asking things like ''do you guarantee the boat to float"? Well that means do you guarantee that it won't sink!! I immediately said no we don't. He the emails, what about holes in the boat? I responded there are no holes in the boat.You can see from the pictures.He went on and on about this ,finally I responded look if there are any leaks I'll fix them,  for the first year. If you have an accident with the boat I'll fix it for cost of repair materials for the first year. Most people would think this was a good deal and it is, no one in the boat industry does this.

 I can tell you every hellish minute dealing with this guy but the long and short of it, after he got the boat he would have a different story every other day (I have the emails) but the two themes consistent throughout were.

 There was something wrong with the boat,

 No I couldn't see the boat (In spite of me offering numerous times to go to the location of the boat and fix it there) or he could bring it to the shop.

 And he should get some money back ,he has given numerous reasons ,always changing like his stories do.

 The design of the boat is a famous one, anyone that has built 5 small boats know this design, there is one online now listed for 1,200, this one sold for 400. This boat design has been around.


 This man has through harassment, intimidation ,yelling,(on the phone,that is why I don't take his calls and have told him) whining(yup somehow he can pull that off) countless emails, i mean up to 20 a week, does this guy have a job?

Finally I had had enough and sent him an email that I didn't want to hear anymore from him, buying a boat does not make me at your beck and call and have to listen to your BS,drama and abuse, I told him not to email me till Monday and that the only thing I would discuss with him was if there was a problem with the boat and that he wanted to bring the boat in for repairs, repairs would take at least a week.

In every retail store there are people like this that the manager finally has to say, you're not allowed in the store anymore. Your behavior and continued disruptions will no longer be tolerated.

 I told him at this time that if he did anything other than this we were through, I am not there for his abuse. He did , he sent 4 emails right back, (I mean does this guy have a life?)

 He continues to harass me to this day ,sending me four texts today!! Oops ,no make that five!!
